Le Fiabe

Le Fiabe baroque ensemble was founded in 2002. The members of the ensemble are: Katja Vaahtera, soprano, Satu Parkkonen, recorder & traverso, Louna Hosia, baroque cello & viola da gamba, and Anna Franzon, harpsichord.

Le Fiabe’s repetoire consists of vocal and instrumental works from the Early and High Baroque period.  The ensemble performs in different combinations throughout their concerts, ranging from solo instrumental works to arias with obligato.

The members of the ensemble are all specialists in Early Music performance, having graduated from The Sibelius Academy or Helsinki University of Applied Sciences, and all have augmented their studies abroad. All the members of the ensemble are active performers and teachers in the Greater Helsinki area.
